A very special gift ...

This lovely mermaid ring was a surprise gift from my hubby. It is a sterling silver sapphire with small diamond chips surrounding it. He found it on Tophatter recently so it was a great bargain for sure! ...

I also noticed that Bath & Body Works has a new mermaid hand cream. Nice and small for carrying with you in your purse ...

As I said before, there was a time when there were no mermaid items to be found anywhere in stores, not even the new-age or wicca shoppes. But now it seems to be the popular thing along with unicorns as well. I have always loved mermaids and always will!

I was shopping around with my mom at our local ULTA Store, and I found a BEAUTIFUL eye make-up brand called Urban Decay. Now, I have tried a few other cosmetic brands, but after trying this product, I can not say enough about their Double Team Special Effect Colored Mascara!! I have purchased four different colors and I love the way the colors show up and compliment your eyes! It doesn't clump either. So far, I have tried the Gonzo (blue), Deep End (teal), Vice (purple), and Junkshow (pink). To remove it, you have to use either baby oil (I use Clinque eye and make up remover because it is allergy-tested), or the like.

Here is what the pink looks like with the matching eyeliner ...

The eyeliners for the corresponding colors come in both pencil and liquid. I much prefer the pencil because I find it much easier to apply underneath your eyes.

Sunday, I picked up a couple of fun little items while out and about. At the Dollar Tree, I found these cheap, fun rub on mermaid tattoos ...

I decided to try one of them and wore it out to dinner last night ...

Then I saw this pretty new eyeliner from Revlon called Mermaid Blue and just could not resist trying it out ...

What can I say? Mermaids just want to have fun!!!
