Some more new scents from Bath & Body Works Collection

Greetings, my friends! Today I noticed some new items while at Bath & Body Works. A set of fresh and soothing fragrances ... Aqua Marine and Moon Stone. Both come in fragrance mist and body lotion. They smell great!

Mermaid humor ...

Did someone say mermaid fairies?

One of my good friends whom I had met while I worked at my last employer of 14 years introduced me to a fabulous new site called Victorian Trading Company. She purchases some gorgeous cameo pins from them and brought me one of her mail catalogs into work for me to look through. All I can say is ... OMG! LOVE IT!!

They offer a large variety of items, but they are a tad expensive which is why I will not be ordering their merchandise too often. I did; however, recently buy this beautiful mermaid fairy necklace and earring set on sale ... mainly because these are so hard to find anywhere ...

Of course, there is still the very cool things you can find much cheaper, less expensive on sites such as WISH and Tophatter. This mermaid necklace is one of my favorites to wear out and goes with almost anything really ...

I have had soo many compliments on this mermaid crescent moon with heart piece it always amuses me! Ever notice how people seem to compliment you on the stuff you have either had forever or something you spent very little on? LOL!!

From the treasure chest ...

As a recent gift and addition to my personal treasure chest, I wanted to share with all of you a beautiful piece I received for my birthday this year. It is an Amphitrite cameo brooch. As you all know, in Greek mythology she was Queen of the Sea, the wife of Poseidon, and daughter to Doris and Nereus.

Two cool (and very cheap and inexpensive) Dragon necklaces I found on the WISH site last week ...

I used a bronze chain for this pendant.

The Dragon necklace is a bit big, but with the right attire, I think it could compliment pretty nicely!

Scrapbooking

I have always enjoyed scrapbooking and have created many throughout the years. Collections of my favorite things - mermaid themes being one of them of course. Here are three which I have started but never quite finished yet as they are still a work in progress.

Since I am not very artistically inclined, I just try to decorate my books with scrapbooking stickers, ribbons, charms, and anything else I can think of to use to add to them. It is fun and really love putting them together - very relaxing projects to do.

Charming mermaid socks and GOT t-shirt

Just a little quick post. Charming Charlie has these cute mermaid socks in stock as well as many other really cool mermaid and beach merchandise! Soft and comfy, they are fun to wear at bedtime.

And I found a cool GoT "Mother of Dragons" t-shirt on sale at our local FYE store ...

I also saw these for sale online, but just a word of warning ... the ladies shirts run VERY small so if you normally take a size medium, you might be smart to go with an XL instead. 

"The Sea Change"

One of my absolute favorite romantic comedies has to be a lovely movie called, "The Sea Change" starring Sean Chapman (who played Frank Cotton in the horror/thriller "Hellraiser"), Maryam D'Abo, and Ray Winstone (The Departed, Sweeney Todd, The Final Cut, King Arthur). 

I came across it accidentally while searching google for other movies which British-born actor Sean Chapman also starred in. I ordered the DVD on Amazon.com, but since then found the full movie free on a site called Sockshare.PM. I highly recommend watching it if you are a lover of romance and mermaids!
